Our X-rays are taken here in the office.  After your consultation with the chiropractor, the doctor will proceed with taking a history and perform any necessary exam procedure to determine if and which X-rays are necessary. Not all patients are X-rayed and this is determined by any special contraindications such as pregnancy.  We also have the capability to take X-rays of the extremities including but not limited to knees, wrist, and ankles. If you are not sure if a bone is fractured or broken, we could evaluate it for you to determine if maybe it could be just a bad sprain or strain. If it is an obvious break and causing major symptoms, we would encourage you to seek immediate medical help by either calling 911 or going to the nearest emergency room.
